PALAK PANEER







Hi Folks...
Its really boring to cook daily & more difficult Task is to decide the menu,I guess....
Do you ppl accept that...???
This week ,I'm into Parota,Chapathi etc,to escape from my deciding job...
Today,I just finished making Palak Paneer...
This is my Husband's fav Dish,But long time since I made at home,
So Today ended up with this..

Many of us don't like Greens,But North Indian make lovely dishes,Top of the list is Palak Paneer..
It actually originates from Punjab,Which is quiet rich,But less Spicy too...

We,South Indians Make Poriyal,Kootu,Masiyal etc,Which Kids don't like much...
But these North Indian dishes ease them to have it with interest...
Palak Pulao,Aaloo Palak,Palak Dhal are more variety of dishes ..

Now Lets proceed with the Menu..



INGREDIENTS:

Palak-2 Cups
Paneer-200 Gms
Butter-2 Tsp
Jeera-1 Tsp
Onion-2
Tomato-2
Kasoori Methi-2 Tsp
G.Chillies-3
Salt
Sugar
Garam Masala-! Tsp
Fresh Cream-1 Tbsp
Lime juice-1 Tsp



METHOD

In a Kadai Take Butter,Add Jeera+ Onions+ Ginger & Garlic paste...
Add Salt,Sugar too.
Saute well till brown...
Add the Tomato puree...
Then,Crushed Kasoori Methi...
Blanched Pureed Palak+ G.Chillies...
Boil for 3 mins ...
Add Paneer cubes...
Garam masala..
Fresh cream...
Can add a dash of Lime juice before serving....

Goes well with Chapathi,Roti, Dosa,Pulao too....







BLANCHING:
Wash & Cut the stem of the Palak,Take leaves alone...
Add it to boiling Water for 3 Mins,Immedietly,Transfer the leaves into Chilled water,...
Blend it in a mixie with G.Chillies..
