Hi Friends....
Any of you here who doesn't like Parathas...?
Fondly called as Parota,Protta..Barotta..Parathas..
However you call it,A Rose is a Rose is a Rose... Right....!!!!!
Either it be a good Restaurant or Roadside shops or Thattu Kadai,
Irrespective of Veg shop or Non Veg Hotel,Our Indian shops surely has this, in their menu...
Though,They are so many controversies about the usage of Maida & making of Parota,
We can treat us once in a while... Right...??
Though we eat Parota at hotels ,, My daughter-Loves Homemades Soft ones...
Even I prefer to make at home,Instead of Hydrogenated loaded ones,you get from Shops...
Though The making of Parota looks lengthy,
actually,By planning it,We can make it easily...
The ingredients are also very simple ones only...

Let us look into the recipe now...

INGREDIENTS
Maida-2 Cups
Oil-1/4+1 cup
Salt
Sugar-1 Tsp
Water
Rice Flour-1/2 cups
METHOD
Seive the maida ,Add Salt,Sugar & Water & Knead well ,little loosely...
Smear some oil & keep aside for an hour...
Take a small Ball of dough...
Roll into very thin Chapathis...
(I prefer to do on the Kitchen Top ,rather than Rolling board....)
On the thin Chapathi,Dust little of Dry Rice Flour,
(Avoid Maida,As it may stick the layers...)

Now Slowly Fan Fold the thin Chapathi,till the end..
(Remember,We use to make Paper Fan during,School days)..

Now.Roll the Fan Folded into Coil like...
Keep this in a Plate,With oil... The parota should be soaked in oil..
Finish with the remaining dough also. Keep the coils soaked in oil,Close it with a cloth
For easy job,you can finish till this stage & Keep aside or even refridgerate it for next day's use...
Now Take the Coil,Keep on a Oil Greased surface,Roll it slowly to Not so thin Parota...
Cook on a Hot tawa,Smearing some oil & cook both sides,till Brown & Crispy
Once you finish making 4-5 Parotas,Keep one on another...Tap it with your hands onto the surface,To make the layers leaven & comes out Fluffy...

Now Serve it hot with A Kuruma of your choice,Either it may be Veg Kuruma,Nav Ratna Kuruma,Egg Kuruma ,Panner masala or Non Veg Kuruma of your choice...
So, Now you are ready to see Happy faces of your family & collect the appreciations from them,
