Already I've put Murungai Poo poriyal,
But this time,It is Murungai Kaai Poriyal...
We normally Make Sambar with Murungai,But this Poriyal version is more tastier..
Even Kids will love the taste...
Its very rich in Iron ,Vitamin-C,Dietary Fibre,Potassium,Magnesium,Manganese etc..
Why dont you give a try of this recipe..??
This Poriyal or Can call it as Varuval too,is My Mom's one of the signature dish,I can say...
INGREDIENTS:
Drumsticks-5
Onions-2
Tomatoes-2
Saunf-1 Tsp
Dhania powder-3 Tsp
Turmeric powder-1 Tsp
Chilly powder-2 Tsp
Salt
Oil
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
To Grind
Saunf-1 Tsp
Small Onions-10
Garlic-5
Coconut-1/2 Cup
METHOD:
Cut the drumstick into Finger length
Boil it in a kadai with Water & Salt,Till done..
Keep aside.
Grind Saunf+ Small onions+Garlic+Coconut in a mixie.. Keep aside..
Take oil in a Kadai,Add Saunf,Onions,Curry leaves.. Saute till pink...
Then Add Chopped Tomatoes,Fry well..
Add the boiled Drumstick..
Now add the Dhania powder,
Chilly Powder,Salt,Turmeric powder...
Add some water..
Now Add the paste..
Turn it slowly,Taking care the Drumstick doesn't break...
Add curry leaves,Coriander & serve hot with Rice..
