 Hi Friends... 
  How are you all...??? With holidays around,Life is so busy for me...
  Summer-Oooh, 
  Remembering my Childhood days, Once the school is over,We just threw our bags away & just       enjoyed the holidays... No homeworks,,. No Projects.. No summer classes.. No Tv also...
Just play,Chat,Eat & Sleep merrily...
   It was one summer,I learnt to play Dhaayam... One summer Cards..Esp Bluff... Just love to shout & enjoy with Cousins & even neighbours...
  Mom & Granny use to provide us with so much of Dishes,all home made...
 Its always great to sit & eat,rather than cook & give to our family...
 I still have the taste of Nungu.. Mangoes.. Panang kilangu... Verkadalai... etc.. etc..
Being from a Big Joint family,We need to rush to the kitchen to have a sizey portion....
Paniyaaram, Idiyaapam, Thoppam were some spl dishes...
Wooooow... So Nostalgic...

Ok.. Let me share my Fav Thakaali Kulambu to u all today...
I just love this with Hot,Soft Idlys....

THAKAALI KULAMBU

Ingredients:
Onions-3
Garlic-6
Cloves-4
Cinnamon-1
Jeera-1 tsp
Coconut-1 Cup
Chilli powder-2 Tsp
Dhania powder-2 Tsp
Turmeric powder-1 Tsp
Salt
Oil

Thalippu vadagam-1 tsp
Tomato-4 
Curry leaves
Coriander

 In a kadai, Take Oil,Add Cloves,Cinnamon,Jeera,Onions,Garlic...
 Saute well.. Off the stove..
Add the coconut...
Cool it... 
Grind in a Mixie..
Add dry powders too & Grind well




In a Kadai,Take some oil,Add Vadagam for tempering...
 Then Curry leaves,Tomatoes.. Fry well... 
Add the ground paste..



 Add some water to dilute,Boil well...
Check the consistency & spices according to your taste..

This Kulambu goes well with Idly.,Dosa,Aappam,Chapathi & even with Rice...

PIZZA


                                HOMEMADE PIZZA




Though we love ,Pizzas.. The pizzas we get in our town is not upto the mark,They pour some sauce& Sprinkle Raw veggies & Very little cheese ,But charge a lot...
Instead I love to make my own Pizzas at home,
But the Base is store bought... Have not tried my hands on the base,though...

Lets look into the Recipe of HOMEMADE PIZZA

Ingredients:
 Pizza base-2
Butter-2 Tsp

For Pizza Sauce
Tomato sauce-2 Tsp
Olive Oil-1 Tsp
Garlic - 3,Crushed
Oregano-1 Tsp
Olives-3
Salt- A pinch

For Topping
Onion-1/2 Cups
Tomato-1/4 Cups
Capsicum-1/4 Cups
Mushroom-1/4 Cups
Carrots-2 Tsp
Sal-1 Tsp
Pepper-2 Tsp

Mozzarella Cheese-100 gms

PIZZA SAUCE:
In a bowl Mix the Tomato Sauce,Crushed Garlic,Olives,Origano,Olive oil,Salt

For Topping:
In a pan Take some Olive oil,Add Onions,Tomatoes,Mushrooms,
Capsicum & Carrots one by one & Saute till done..
Add salt & Pepper too...
  Grate the Cheese & Keep aside..

 METHOD FOR PIZZA

Take the base,Spread some Butter,then- Pizza sauce on it...
Spread the sauted Veggie fully on top of the base...

Cover it with grated cheese..
Arrange it with Rings of Capsicum & Tomatoes...

Now Bake it in a Pre heated Oven in 180 degrees for just 2-3 Mins or till done...

Slice it & Serve Hot,with some sauce.,...

How are you all....???
Today I'm going to write the recipe of Soya Varuval,Which is My Husband's All time Favorite....
It goes very well with Variety rice,Sambar & Rice,Rasam rice or even with Simple Curd Rice...
Many dont cook this because of its bland taste,But it is a rich source of Protein, Less in Calories & Fats...
Though it doesnt have its own taste,It can absorb the Flavor & taste of any Spices,Sauces....
It is very healthy for women,Esp who are in menopusal stage... It helps preventing Oesteoporosis too..
Heard it contains Phytoestrogens,A Female harmone...
This Soya or Better known as Mealmaker,Comes handy,when there is No veg left out in your kitchen...
Just give a try & Taste this...


SOYA VARUVAL
INGREDIENTS:
Soya-100 gms
Onion-100 Gms
Ginger Garlic paste-2 Tsp
Cloves-4
Cinnamon-1
Saunf-1 Tsp
Chilli powder-2 Tsp
Dhania powder-3 Tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 Tsp
Salt-To taste
Sugar-A pinch
Oil-4 Tsp
Curry leaves
Coriander Leaves

Method:
Soak the soya in water,Add to boiling water ,added with Salt for 5 Mins... 
Rinse in running water..
Squeeze the excess water away..
In a kadai,Take Oil,add Cloves.,Cinnamon,Saunf, 
Then Add Chopped Onions... Ginger,Garlic paste... Saute till pink...
Now add the Dry powders-Chilly powder,Dhania powder,Turmeric & Salt...
Saute well...,Till the masala coats well...
You can even sprinkle little water..
Add a pinch of Sugar too...
Finally Add the curry leaves & Coriander leaves..

For Variation,You can add Tomatoes... Coconut paste too...
I got the small sized ones... If you get regular ones,Cook till boiling stage.
Then cut it into 3 or 4 pieces,then fry ..
This makes it absorb the spice & Flavor better....
